“Gandhian Values 2.0 – What Would Bapu Do Today?”

Grade 3E presented a meaningful and engaging special assembly on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, centred around the theme “Gandhian Values 2.0 – What Would Bapu Do Today?”

Through lively narration, dialogues and situational acts, the students explored how Gandhian values such as truth, honesty, kindness, non-violence and fairness can guide us in our everyday lives.

The young performers presented relatable situations such as a pencil dispute, the temptation to take someone else’s chocolates, bullying, teasing a friend and jumping a queue. Each scene highlighted the importance of resolving conflicts peacefully, being honest, respecting others and choosing kindness.

A special highlight was the entry of Artificial Intelligence, which added a contemporary touch to the assembly. The interaction beautifully conveyed that while technology can provide information and solutions, human beings need wisdom, empathy and values to make the right choices.

The assembly concluded with a “Gandhian Values Challenge”, where students pledged to speak the truth, avoid bullying and teasing, help others and practise kindness every day.

Through their confident performances and thoughtful presentation, the students of Grade 3E reminded everyone that Gandhiji’s values are timeless and can be practised every day.
