The Samcara Career Cell conducted an engaging Career Discovery Lab for students, encouraging them to look beyond conventional job titles and explore careers at the intersection of their interests, skills, problems, and disciplines.
The session introduced students to an evolving world of interdisciplinary careers and guided them to think beyond the traditional Stream → Degree → Job pathway. Students explored the importance of asking the right questions, identifying emerging skills, investigating unfamiliar career pathways, and testing their interests through projects, internships and real-world experiences.
As an important part of the session, students were also familiarised with the process of requesting and organising essential academic and application-related documents in advance. This was aimed at ensuring that they are better prepared and can navigate their university applications smoothly and without last-minute challenges.
The session concluded with a simple yet powerful message: the goal is not to know every career, but to know how to discover them.
