DF Jack Memorial English Debate

The team from The Sanskaar Valley School, Bhopal, participated in the prestigious DF Jack Memorial English Debate held at Daly College, Indore from 25th to 26th April 2026. Representing the school were Aarav Anand [10 IG], Raywa Saboo [9F], and Arham Jain [9F], who demonstrated confidence, adaptability, and strong oratory skills throughout the competition.

Competing against senior participants from Grades 11 and 12, the team rose to the challenge with remarkable composure and determination. Over two intellectually rigorous days, they participated in more than seven debate rounds, gaining exposure to diverse formats such as Lincoln-Douglas and Asian Parliamentary debating. This experience allowed them to broaden their understanding of argumentation styles and refine their speaking techniques.

A special highlight of the event was Raywa Saboo’s achievement as Whip Runner-Up in the quarter-finals, reflecting exceptional skill in summarising debates and delivering impactful closing arguments. Their consistent performance and effective teamwork earned them a place as semi-finalists, an impressive achievement in a highly competitive setting.

Beyond the results, the competition provided invaluable learning experiences, enhancing their critical thinking, confidence, and ability to engage with complex ideas, making it a truly enriching journey.

The team received special appreciation from both the judges and the audience for their strong presence in every round.

I am also delighted to share that our Hindi Debate team, represented by Anadi Dayaramani [9 IG] and Abhigya Chowksey [10 F], delivered a remarkable performance, advancing to the quarter finals and making us proud.
