Orientation & Welcome Day Activities
The first day of school for our Grade 3 learners was planned to create a warm, joyful, and engaging start to the academic year, helping learners feel confident, connected, and comfortable in their classroom environment.

House Activity – Peek-a-Boo (Circle Time)
The day began with an interactive House Activity – Peek-a-Boo, conducted during circle time. Learners stood in four different corners of the classroom according to their respective houses. As the teacher counted till 10, the selected house came together, and learners confidently gave a brief introduction of themselves. The Peek-a-Boo element added excitement and encouraged active participation. This activity helped build peer connections, boosted self-confidence, and fostered a strong sense of belonging and team spirit among learners.

Welcome & Readiness Activities
Learners enthusiastically participated in the welcome activities planned for the day.

• In the Passport to Grade 3 Activity, learners pasted their photographs, wrote their class and section, and shared one thing they are good at, helping them develop self-awareness and confidence.
• In the Take-Away Activity, learners gave their hand impression, ticked the promises they would follow throughout the year, and received a signed welcome message from the teacher, reinforcing classroom values, responsibility, and positive behaviour 

Overall Experience
The day was filled with excitement, smiles, and meaningful interactions. Through engaging activities and guided discussions, learners settled smoothly into the Grade 3 classroom, marking a happy and confident beginning to the academic session.
