As a part of SDG – Students were made aware about COP30 in Brazil through discussions on forest protection , climate finance and support for climate-vulnerable regions in addition to advancing global efforts to cut emissions and strengthen resilience. Students participated in an engaging learning session about the Amazon Rainforest based on the theme- ‘Amazon- the lungs of Earth’. They were introduced to COP30 and Amazon’s unique wildlife, biodiversity and vital role in the Earth’s climate. The presentation sparked curiosity and helped them visualise the rainforest’s richness. Following this, students were encouraged for a thoughtful recall and application of concepts. Their responses reflected keen interest, strong understanding, and growing environmental awareness. The session not only strengthened their knowledge but also enhanced their observation and comprehension skills. Overall, the session was highly interactive and meaningful, fostering a deeper appreciation for our planet’s natural treasures. A board on the same theme was presented by the students of 5C to help learning for the entire week.
