Empowered minds, inspired hearts, limitless dreams - National Education Day
On 11th November, the students of Grade 2D presented a beautifully organised class assembly on National Education Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad — India’s first Education Minister, while also celebrating the extraordinary vision of Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The assembly served as a heartfelt tribute to the power of education, determination, and dreams.
The assembly began with a soulful prayer, creating a calm and reflective atmosphere, followed by confident presentations of International, National, and Sports News, delivered with enthusiasm and poise by our young learners.
The highlight of the assembly was the inspiring dramatisation titled “Wings of Fire – The Journey of Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.” The students brought to life his incredible story — from his humble beginnings in Rameswaram and his childhood curiosity, to his unwavering resilience, his groundbreaking achievements as India’s Missile Man, and his legacy as the People’s President. Their powerful performance beautifully captured Dr Kalam’s love for science, students, and nation-building, leaving the audience inspired and deeply touched.
Adding vibrancy to the event, students further mesmerised the audience with an energetic dance performance, celebrating the joy of learning and the courage to follow one’s dreams.
The assembly was not just a celebration of National Education Day, but also a meaningful reminder that education empowers, dreams inspire, and every child carries the potential to shape the future. It was truly a proud and memorable moment for the school community.
