"Diwali is not just a festival of lights; it is a celebration of togetherness, creativity and joy."
On 17th October 2025, the students of Prangan joyfully celebrated Diwali with enthusiasm and festive spirit. The day was filled with engaging, eco-friendly, and creative activities designed to help children understand the deeper meaning of the festival while cherishing the joy of togetherness.
The celebration began with Rangoli Activity, where each class collaboratively coloured parts of a rangoli design on an A3 sheet. As every child added colour to their part, the pieces came together to form a vibrant Class Paper Rangoli, symbolizing unity and teamwork. The activity concluded with cheerful class photographs taken in the Prangan courtyard to capture these beautiful festive moments.
This was followed by a Diwali presentation shown in classrooms, after which students enthusiastically participated in a Diya Decoration Activity. They creatively adorned their painted earthen diyas with glitter, beads, and stickers. Each child proudly carried home their decorated diya — a radiant symbol of light, positivity, and festive joy.
The entire day radiated joy, colour, and festive cheer. Dressed in traditional attire, students shared laughter, warmth, and the true spirit of Diwali. The celebration not only brought smiles to young faces but also reinforced the values of unity, sustainability, and cultural pride.
