The festival of Dussehra was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion in our boarding on 2nd October 2025. The celebration began in the evening with a brief talk by the Dean of Residence highlighting the significance of the festival — the victory of good over evil and the importance of truth and righteousness in our lives.
Students actively participated in a cultural programme that included devotional narrations, skits depicting scenes from the Ramayana, and a short dance performance showcasing Indian traditions. The highlight of the evening was the burning of the effigy of Ravana, symbolizing the triumph of Lord Rama over evil. The atmosphere was filled with joy, cheers, and festive spirit.
The celebration concluded with a special dinner and sweets for all boarders. It was a memorable evening that not only entertained everyone but also reminded us of the timeless message of goodness and virtue.
