As part of the Wildlife Week Celebrations 2025, students of Environmental science attended an enriching and inspiring Special Public Lecture organized at the Regional Science Centre, Bhopal on 8th October 2025.

The session titled “Through Forest Trails and Starry Skies: A Life in Conservation and Photography” was delivered by Mr. Shubhoranjan Sen, IFS, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife), Forest Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Mr. Sen captivated the audience with his fascinating journey through India’s tiger reserves and the mesmerizing world of astro-photography. They gained a deeper understanding of how forests and the cosmos are interconnected, and how every effort toward conservation contributes to preserving the planet’s natural wonders.

The event concluded with a round of enthusiastic questions from students and a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to Mr. Sen and the Regional Science Centre for organizing such an enlightening session.
