“Kindness is the language the deaf can hear and the blind can see.” – Mark Twain
Grade 4F’s class assembly, “The Great Pup-liftment Drive”, beautifully unfolded the theme of kindness towards community dogs, reminding us that compassion extends beyond words—even to those who cannot speak.
The assembly began with a heartfelt prayer, school news, and an engaging skit showcasing humorous yet powerful conversations around the treatment of stray dogs. Through music, drama, and interactive storytelling, students highlighted empathy, responsible behavior, and how small acts—like feeding or caring for a stray—can create big change.
The event concluded with an enlightening session by students as animal welfare volunteers, and a powerful message: "Kindness makes heroes out of all of us."
Ms. Manpreet Bhan, Head of the Block, addressed the gathering, praising the students for their sensitivity and encouraging everyone to be the voice for the voiceless.
