On the 20th of August 2025, The Sanskaar Valley School, Bhopal proudly hosted its annual fashion event, Conscious Couture, under the futuristic and thought-provoking theme Eco Royal Runway – Kingdoms of the Future. This unique showcase brought together sustainability, creativity, and storytelling, as students reimagined royal identities in a world where environmental consciousness is the true symbol of power. The event emphasized a vital message: fashion can be both beautiful and responsible.

Students from all four houses—Pragyan, Pravir, Satya, and Udyam—participated with tremendous enthusiasm and ingenuity. Each house created an imaginative kingdom and crafted stunning costumes using upcycled materials like plastic, jute, ropes, cardboard, and fabric scraps. These designs reflected not only artistic flair but also a deep understanding of environmental issues. Pragyan House presented Kingdom Elementara, inspired by the harmony of earth, air, fire, and water, and was declared the winner. Pravir House secured the first runner-up position with their icy Kingdom of Glacium, representing the fragile beauty of the polar regions. Satya House introduced Ouranos, a celestial realm promoting air purity and unity, while Udyam House, the second runner-up, showcased Threads of the Tide, a marine-themed kingdom drawing attention to ocean conservation and plastic pollution.

The show was judged by two esteemed individuals, Mr. Mumtaz Khan who is a renowned fashion designer and Mr. Shahnawaz Khan, the well-known model. They evaluated each performance based on originality, sustainability, creativity, and presentation. The judges applauded the students’ efforts, noting the impressive storytelling, detailed craftsmanship, and bold use of recycled materials. Special mentions were awarded for Best Use of Upcycled Materials, Most Impactful Theme Representation, and Outstanding Choreography and Presentation.

Conscious Couture 2025 proved to be more than just a fashion show. It was a movement—an inspiring display of how the next generation can lead the way toward a more sustainable and thoughtful future. Through this event, students demonstrated that true royalty lies in protecting our planet. The school community was left inspired, proud and hopeful.
