MAKER’S Space Grade 2 and 3

Date of Upload: 2025-07-04

Students of Grade 2 and Grade 3 recently participated in an exciting Maker's Space activity centered around design thinking and creativity. The challenge invited young innovators to use LEGOs and building blocks to recreate iconic monuments, blending hands-on learning with cultural exploration.

Grade 2 students focused on designing famous monuments from Africa, while Grade 3 students took inspiration from iconic landmarks across Asia. From the Pyramids of Giza to the Great Wall of China, the Maker's Space transformed into a vibrant hub of imagination and teamwork.

The activity encouraged students to explore basic engineering concepts, develop spatial awareness, and understand the cultural importance of each structure. Students shared their ideas, and brought their visions to life—one brick at a time.

This fun and engaging event highlighted the power of design thinking at an early age, fostering creativity, collaboration, and global awareness in our young learners. It was a proud moment to see their curiosity come alive through colorful, thoughtful constructions.
