“The bell rings loud, the year starts bright, let’s make this school year shine with light!"
On the first day of the new session, March 3rd, the students embarked on a journey filled with prayers, gratitude, and joyful bonding. Students were greeted with a lively music fiesta in Prangan. The morning commenced with heartfelt prayers, as the students collectively expressed their gratitude towards the almighty, setting a tone of positivity for the day ahead.
Grade II :
The first day of Grade II was filled with excitement, laughter, and warm connections as our young learners began their new journey. To ease into their new environment, students participated in an ice-breaking activity, where they chose their preferred greeting—hugs, fist bumps, high-fives, or handshakes—fostering comfort and camaraderie.
They unleashed their creativity in an “All About Me” takeaway activity, designing school bag-themed cutouts that wonderfully showcased their unique personalities. Next, the students enjoyed a heartwarming buddy activity, where they captured joyful moments and made new friends. A guided campus tour with the sports teachers helped them familiarize themselves with their new space, ensuring they felt right at home. With bright smiles and eager hearts, our second graders stepped into this exciting new chapter, ready to learn, grow, and create lasting friendships.
Grade III :
Grade III kicked off with a fun-filled ice-breaking activity that encouraged teamwork and friendship. Students formed a close-knit web using yarn, symbolizing their connection with one another, while introducing themselves. This activity helped them feel comfortable and develop new friendships from the very start.
Following this, they took part in a creative takeaway activity, where they wrote on a magical pencil cutout about what they would like to draw, inspiring their imagination for the year ahead.
Grade IV:
Grade IV students were engaged in an interactive icebreaker session called "Know Your Friend Bingo." Through this lively game, they learned interesting facts about each other while filling out their bingo cards, discovering common interests along the way.
To deepen their self-reflection and personal expression, they participated in a "About Me" takeaway activity, where they shared unique aspects of their personalities with their peers.
Grade V:
As our school celebrates its 20th year, Grade V students kicked off the new academic session with a unique welcome activity that personified our school as a camera, capturing cherished memories and moments.
They were encouraged to reflect on the school’s vision statement and express what they love most about their school. Their heartfelt responses showcased creativity, appreciation, and a deep sense of belonging. It was inspiring to see them connect with our school's values, setting a positive and thoughtful tone for the year ahead.
These welcome activities have set the stage for a year full of growth, friendship, and unforgettable experiences.
