The vibrant event, Bonjour India was organized for grades II, III, and IV to immerse children in French heritage through creative, hands-on activities.
The youngest participants, our curious Grade II students, were introduced to France and its culture for the very first time through a delightful craft activity wherein they explored iconic French symbols such as the Eiffel Tower and croissant, bringing the essence of France to life. The Grade III students participated enthusiastically in a tape painting activity, crafting stunning backgrounds for the Eiffel Tower such as the colors of the French flag and other creative patterns and revealing the silhouette of the Eiffel Tower standing majestically against their colorful canvases. Lastly, the Grade IV students showcased their research and creativity by designing travel brochures that highlighted the diverse aspects of France. These brochures featured information about France's monuments, cuisine, culture, fashion, sports, and politics. The students worked diligently to depict the richness of French life, from the grandeur of the Louvre to the sophistication of French fashion and the culinary delights of croissants and macarons.
Through Bonjour India, the students not only celebrated the culture of France but also embraced the joy of discovering and appreciating the diversity of the world. The event was a testament to our school’s commitment to holistic education and fostering global awareness among its students.
