Hands-On Telescope Making Workshop and STEAM Park Visit at Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Bhopal
On Saturday, 21st December 2024, our students of grade 8th and 9th participated in an immersive, day-long workshop on telescope making, held at the Regional Institute of Education (RIE), a unit of NCERT. The workshop provided a unique opportunity to delve into the fascinating world of astronomy, where students learned the science behind telescopes and constructed their own.
Following the workshop, the students explored the STEAM Park at RIE, engaging with interactive exhibits and activities that integrated science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
The day proved to be an enriching and inspiring experience, fostering curiosity and encouraging young minds to explore the limitless possibilities of scientific inquiry and creativity.
The team was escorted by Mr. Nooh Hassan Mirza, Ms. Deboshree Singh, Mr. Kamal Kumar Soni, and Dr. Yugal Kishor Tiwari.
