The Grade 5 Parent Orientation for the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum was successfully conducted, drawing an enthusiastic response from parents eager to explore the opportunities provided by the Cambridge program. The event was aimed to familiarize parents with the structure, philosophy, and benefits of the CAIE curriculum, showcasing its holistic approach to education.
The orientation was addressed by our esteemed Principal, Mr Chandresh Shah, who delivered an insightful presentation, offering a comprehensive glimpse into the Cambridge curriculum. Mr Shah emphasized the international benchmarks and skill-based learning approach of the CAIE framework, which nurtures critical thinking, creativity, and global awareness in students. He also highlighted the flexibility and rigor of the curriculum, designed to cater to diverse learning needs while ensuring academic excellence.
Parents had the opportunity to observe curriculum through displayed coursebooks, notebooks and projects. This reflected the depth of understanding and application-based learning fostered by the Cambridge framework. Parents also interacted with present CAIE students understanding a range of subjects and teaching methodology and appreciated the emphasis on inquiry-driven and activity-based learning.
The interactive session provided a platform for parents to engage with teachers, ask questions, and better understand how CAIE prepares students for future academic and career success. The parents expressed a keen interest in enrolling their children in the Cambridge curriculum, recognizing the benefits of an education system that equips students with 21st-century skills and a global outlook.
The event concluded on a positive note, with parents commending the school for its commitment to delivering high-quality education and for offering the CAIE curriculum as an option for their child. The enthusiasm and positive feedback from parents affirmed the growing demand for Cambridge education and reinforced the school’s dedication to fostering lifelong learning and academic excellence.
