The Entrepreneurship and Finance Club of Sopaan hosted the "Invention – Convention: Entrepreneurship Challenge 2024," an event that gave young entrepreneurs the opportunity to present their business ideas to a panel of judges, known as the "Sharks," who decided whether to invest in the student ventures. Six teams actively engaged in the event, presenting their entrepreneurial pitches.
The presentations featured a variety of innovative concepts, including apps, websites, and prototype products. The ideas spanned a wide spectrum of industries, showcasing everything from tech-driven solutions to eco-friendly and socially impactful projects. Notable examples included a sustainable product line made from recycled materials, an electric bicycle with an integrated ecosystem, air purifiers and smoke absorption systems, and a mobile app for wardrobe management and skill development. All six teams came fully prepared to persuade the sharks of the profitability of their products. Equipped with detailed statistics and thorough research, the participants demonstrated strong oratory skills and exceptional entrepreneurial acumen.
The distinguished panel of sharks for the event included Mr. Harish Tolani, Mr. Puneet Dubey, Ms. Tavisha Sharma (student judge), Mr. Nooh Hussain Mirza and Ms. Shweta Manyala. The event proved to be an overwhelming success, serving as a brilliant testament to the boundless potential of young visionaries within the entrepreneurial sphere.
