On 24th September, the students of Grade 4E conducted a vibrant and enlightening assembly on the theme "Eco-Friendly Ganpati Celebrations". The assembly aimed to spread awareness about celebrating the beloved Ganesh festival in a way that protects the environment.
The program began with Ganesh Vandana followed by a short skit, narrating the story of the birth of Lord Ganesha. The students beautifully portrayed the significance of Lord Ganesha as the remover of obstacles and the god of wisdom.
The children then shared valuable lessons from Lord Ganesha's life, such as the virtues of patience, wisdom, and respect for elders. They emphasized how Lord Ganesha’s teachings could guide us in our daily lives.
The assembly took an eco-conscious turn when the students introduced the concept of celebrating Ganpati in an eco-friendly manner. They discussed the harmful effects of using non-biodegradable materials and chemical paints for Ganesh idols and urged everyone to opt for eco-friendly idols made from clay.
The event concluded with a vibrant and energetic dance performance.
The assembly was a great success, reflecting the students' creativity and awareness of environmental issues while honoring the cultural significance of Ganesh Chaturthi.
