On the 31st of August, the much-awaited "Grade-4 Annual Function - Euphoria 2024" took center stage, bringing together the vibrant talent of Grade 4 students. The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the Senior Management Team, symbolizing wisdom and enlightenment, marking the start of a memorable celebration filled with music, drama, dance, and creativity. Mr.Chandresh Shah, Principal and Mrs. Manpreet Bhan, Head of Prangan, addressed the audience with an uplifting speech, motivating the young performers and applauding their dedication and talent.
The program opened with a spectacular and enthralling musical presentation "Brahmanaad," that highlighted the extraordinary talents of the students. The choir's performance was a transcendent experience, blending spirituality with melody. They enchanted the audience with two melodious pieces: "Godilo," a serene folk song that created a peaceful ambiance, followed by the lively "Duma Dum Mast Kalandar," a spirited Sufi qawwali that infused the atmosphere with joy and energy. The stage then transformed into the magical world of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, an English play that told the story of a poor boy named Charlie Bucket. The students brilliantly portrayed Charlie’s journey from finding a golden ticket to winning Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. As each of the other four children succumbed to their negative traits, Charlie’s kindness and curiosity allowed him to outlast them, ultimately earning him the greatest reward. The play captivated the audience with its engaging storytelling and vibrant performances.
Next, the spotlight then shifted to the vibrant "Badhai Dance," a traditional folk dance from Madhya Pradesh, especially popular in the Bundelkhand region. Students brought this joyful expression of celebration to life, showcasing the rich cultural heritage with synchronized movements, rhythmic footwork, and energetic performances. The dance, performed during auspicious occasions like weddings and festivals, featured colourful traditional attire and lively music
played on instruments like dhol, nagara, and shehnai, capturing the spirit of unity and festive harmony. The program further unfolded with a mesmerizing presentation of Singhasan Battisi, a Hindi drama depicting Raja Bhoj’s journey in discovering the legendary throne of King Vikramaditya. The performance beautifully conveyed the message that true kingship and justice are rooted in moral values, not in power or grandeur. The students portrayed the story with conviction, highlighting the wisdom and integrity that define righteous leadership.
The excitement reached its peak with "Echoes of Dreams," a contemporary dance that captured the theme of dreams and happiness. The graceful movements of the performers beautifully expressed the joy found in life’s little moments, celebrating the essence of true happiness. The dance left the audience mesmerized with its artistic expression and joyful energy. A special tribute is deserved for the remarkable comperes who masterfully guided the entire event with charm, grace, and energy. Their commanding stage presence, seamless transitions, and dynamic delivery kept the audience engaged and enlivened the entire program. Their skillful and spirited approach ensured that every performance was introduced with flair and celebrated with vigor, making the event run smoothly and effortlessly from beginning to end.
Following, the Vice Principal, Ms. Kamal Nain Handa, delivered the vote of thanks. The event concluded with a Grand Finale, where all the participants came together in a spirited celebration, bringing the program to a vibrant close.
With 204 Grade 4 students contributing to the success of the event, Euphoria 2024 was a resounding success. The event was a brilliant showcase of talent, teamwork, and creativity, leaving behind cherished memories for everyone in attendance.
