With this spirit, the young stars of Grade 2 dazzled the stage at the Annual Function, Euphoria 2024, celebrated on August 30th, presenting a spectacular showcase of talent, creativity, and boundless energy. The event was a grand success, leaving the parents in awe of the 189 students who brought their dreams to life through music, dance, drama, and athleticism.
The event commenced with the timeless tradition of lighting the lamp by the Senior Management Team. Mr.Chandresh Shah, Principal and Mrs. Manpreet Bhan, Head of Prangan, then addressed the audience, offering inspiring words of encouragement to the young performers. The day unfolded with the Tiny Twinklers - A musical presentation, where the young performers captivated everyone with their vibrant and harmonious renditions, setting a joyful tone for the entire event. Parents were then treated to an energizing performance by the Happy Hoppers. The dancers’ energized the audience with their freestyle routine, skillfully incorporating props like hula hoops and pom-poms to the upbeat rhythms of "Shake It Off," "Dance Monkey," and "Waving Flag."
The event continued with an enchanting English play, Holka Polka, where characters from beloved fairy tales and popular stories, including Cinderella, Snow White, Pinocchio, Elsa, and even figures from Harry Potter, came together to solve a magical mystery. The play delivered a powerful message about teamwork, responsibility, and avoiding quick judgments, leaving a lasting impact on the audience. The Rising Stars then took the stage, showcasing their impressive skipping and aerobics skills, embodying the spirit of a healthier lifestyle. Their dedication and enthusiasm not only reflect the importance of fitness but also echo the preparation of an Individual at Global level with an Olympic state of mind, inspiring the community to stay active and healthy." The Hindi play Laddu Ki Kahani followed, telling the entertaining and moral story of a mischievous baby elephant named 'Laddu' who learned a valuable lesson from the clever queen ant and her fellow ants.
Before the grand finale, the audience was treated to a mesmerizing classical performance. The students presented a graceful and enchanting Nrityanjali, a semi-classical dance that celebrated cultural traditions with profound devotion and exquisite artistry.
A special mention must be made of the brilliant Comperers, who skillfully guided the entire show with confidence, energy, and flair. Their seamless transitions, engaging presence, and ability to keep the audience entertained added a professional touch to the event, ensuring that every performance was introduced and celebrated in style.
The students' unwavering persistence and perseverance shone brightly as they delivered a splendid performance, embodying the values and morals reflected in their work. They expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported them tirelessly. Vote of thanks was then given by the Vice Principal, Ms.Kamal Nain Handa. The program concluded with a Grand Finale, where all the participants took the stage, receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience. Grade-2 Euphoria 2024 was not just an event; it was a memorable celebration of creativity, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating future performances.
