English Department organized an Inter-House English Extempore Competition on 26th July, 2024 during Competition Time. The theme of the event was ‘The World of Books.’The event aimed to enhance the speaking skills, creativity, and quick thinking of the participants.
Students from grades VI to VIII participated in the event, representing their respective houses with great zeal and excitement. Each participant was given a topic on the spot and were allotted few minutes to gather their thoughts and prepare their speech. The competition was designed to test the spontaneity and eloquence of the participants. The enthusiastic compering team was highly appreciated for their charismatic anchoring of the event.
The panel of judges consisted of two distinguished English Teachers Ms.Achla Bhasin and Ms. Sindhu Mol who brought with them a wealth of experience and expertise.
The extempore competition was a resounding success, providing students with a valuable platform to showcase their speaking skills and enhance their confidence. The event concluded with heartfelt vote of thanks.
