Grade 4 students recently engaged in a creative activity for the topic- Revolution of the Earth. This activity was aimed at understanding how seasons influence landscapes. Each student was tasked with drawing and colouring one landscape in four different ways to represent the seasons: summer, autumn, winter, and spring.
By drawing the same landscape in different seasonal contexts, students observed how variations in temperature, daylight, and weather conditions affect nature's appearance throughout the year. Students honed their artistic skills by experimenting with colour palette to each season.
In conclusion, this activity successfully merged art with science, allowing students to visually interpret and comprehend the impact of Earth's tilted axis on seasonal variations. This interdisciplinary approach fostered a holistic learning experience.
