Are we ‘Ready for the world’!

The Cambridge Central India gathering convened at The Sanskar Valley School, bringing together 107 educators specializing in English, Science, and Mathematics across Central India. Representing seventeen institutions in Madhya Pradesh- Chhattisgarh, teachers actively engaged in the event. The proceedings commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome from Principal Mr. Chandresh Shah. The opening ceremony was enriched by a captivating performance from the school choir, presenting a medley of inspirational songs, followed by an energetic showcase by the student band Nazm. Throughout the day, three distinguished keynote speakers, Dr. Rahul Sharma for Mathematics, Ms. Vaishali Gandhi for Sciences, and Ms. Tanya Valecha for English, shared their expertise and various strategies on "Active Learning" and empowering students in their learning journey. The day's agenda comprised of three main sessions: a plenary session led by Cambridge representatives discussing the latest developments, subject-specific sessions guided by the keynote speakers, and a concluding reflection session where delegates contemplated the event's insights. The workshop featured interactive sessions where participants engaged in discussions, shared their teaching experiences, and learned from one another. These sessions were particularly beneficial in exploring innovative teaching methods and addressing common challenges faced by science teachers of Cambridge.
