To acquaint our young historians of Grade 4, a Historical Role-Play activity was conducted to enhance their learning of various themes in history.
The activity provided students with a hands-on experience, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of complex themes like beginning of civilisations in the world, Indian freedom struggle etc. By assuming the roles of key historical figures, students not only learned about the events of the past but also acquired skills like empathy, critical thinking and research & analysis.
The creative and colourful posters and placards made by them enhanced their performance. The activity fostered engagement, and historical intellect among students, making it a valuable experiential learning opportunity.
