Reading Fest – Read-a-palooza

Date of Upload: 2024-04-13

Reading is like dreaming with eyes wide open, star gazing in broad daylight, feeling warmth in the rain, and whatnot.

Prangan commenced its celebration of literature with Reading Fest – Read-a-palooza!! on April 12th, Friday, emphasizing the significance of reading. The faculty at Prangan recognizes that instilling a love for reading in students is paramount. Through engaging enactments, teachers introduced students to the novels they would delve into throughout the year, immersing them in a world brimming with fascinating characters. At Umang Hall, students experienced the enchantment of books coming alive, delighting in various engaging reads and captivated by a compelling drama. The performance of "The Girl Who Hated Books" vividly illustrated the importance of immersing oneself in the world of literature. This initiative aimed to ignite the passion for reading among students, urging them to embrace the joy that books bring. In the pursuit of nurturing robust literary abilities and promoting positive reading habits, students were motivated to join a Raffle, enhancing their reading journey. As a result, they were presented with storybooks tailored to their respective sections from each grade as a token of recognition. Additionally, students were briefed about the novels selected for each grade, providing them with insight into the literary journey ahead and igniting anticipation for the adventures that awaited within the pages of these chosen books.

The students enjoyed the activity ‘Reading Fest – Read-a Palooza’, and they were full to the brim with joy and enthusiasm as they developed a new hunger to read.

And now, one thing the little readers of Prangan will always have, is vast knowledge and even vaster imagination.
