A group of students from The Sanskaar Valley School comprising Class 12 embarked on an educational journey to explore the operations and functioning of Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology (CIPET) in Bhopal. The purpose of the visit was to gain practical insights into the petrochemical industry and its various processes.

Activities during the visit:

1. Introduction to Petrochemical Industry – The visit commenced with an informative session where the students were introduced to the fundamentals of the petrochemical industry and the single used plastics.
2. Guided tour of facilities – The students were given a guided tour of the facilities at CIPET which included laboratories equipped with machineries for testing and analyzing polymer materials. The students observed demonstrations of different processes involved in polymer synthesis, compounding and molding.
3. Interactive sessions- Throughout the visit the students had the opportunity to interact with industry experts and researchers associated with CIPET. They engaged in discussions on emerging trends in the petrochemical sector, environmental sustainability and the importance of innovation in polymer technology.

Conclusion – This visit not only broadened the students knowledge horizons but also inspired them to pursue their careers in this field. This visit will help them in future if they want to become entrepreneurs and start their own startups.
