As the new session of the academic year started, students were given a grand welcome to Sopaan. First week of school- for some, it is the time of transition from Prangan to Sopaan, and for others, it is the excitement of entering a new class. For all, the common factor is the mix bag of emotions. With that in mind, the teachers prepared a range of activities for the children to incite their interest and to motivate them for the upcoming session and increase their participation in the classroom activities. Such as ice breaking sessions, know your friend, and other activities.
The day started with a school assembly by the Principal of the School, who talked to students about importance of respect- towards oneself, others, and school property.
As the new grade 6 students entered the corridors of Sopaan, they were welcomed by teachers and students. The start of the new session brings new vibes and energy to conquer the world full of possibilities.
