Tiny tots of Grade 2 celebrated World Postal Day and told the importance of this day through their class assembly on 12th October. World Post Day marks the establishment of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and the creation of the revolutionary mode of communication with letters in the everyday lives of the people.
Students had put in a lot of effort and preparation for their class assembly, covering a diverse range of activities from prayers and news presentations to English plays and dance performances. Such events provide valuable opportunities for students to showcase their talents and develop various skills, including public speaking, teamwork, creativity, and cultural awareness.
Students also shared some interesting facts related to Indian Postal services, world's highest post office in India and India having the largest postal network in the World.
