Date of Upload: 2023-07-24

On 14th  July 2023, the students of Grade III, IV and V witnessed the most exciting cohesion of cultures when they celebrated Bonjour India at school- an event that marked the amalgamation of French and Indian cultures. Celebrated as Bastille day in France this day marked the fall of Bastille, a military fortress and the commemoration of the French revolution, after which France adopted its motto-
                                             Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité
The day started with the students grooving on the French song “Dommage '' sung by Kiearah Agarwal followed by a French poem “Les soleils couchants' ' narrated by Charvi Kotwani. This was followed by a plethora of activities such as fireless cooking  and fancy dress for Grades IV and V, 3D Eiffel tower for grade V, straws Eiffel tower by Grade IV and recreation of the painting of famous French artist George- Seurat using Pointillism technique.
Just like every other activity undertaken in Prangan seeks to inculcate a virtue, the celebration of the French day not just aimed at imbibing acceptance and tolerance of a foreign culture but also expression of love and respect towards the French language that is being taught across Grade III, IV and V in Prangan.
