On 22 July 2023, students from Sanskaar Valley School visited Asha Niketan School for Specially abled students to plan future activities and understand their requirements. We were warmly welcomed and introduced to the school's history, mission, and services.
Observations and interactions revealed sign language as the primary mode of communication. Asha Niketan faces challenges in acquiring specialized teaching aids and technology. Their curriculum focuses on communication skills and vocational training.
Feedback from Asha Niketan highlighted the need for interactive learning software, some sports material, art and craft items. Next steps include a visit to their art exhibition and collaborative events.
The visit emphasized the importance of inclusivity and empathy in education. We look forward to fostering a lasting partnership and creating an environment of growth and understanding for all students involved.
