Characters Came Alive at Prangan

Often it has been observed that children don’t like to read a book either because they cannot form a connection to the story or envisage relevant picture references in their minds. Engaging in a book, experiencing the journey, getting a sense of the setting and re-living the characters are essential elements that make children enjoy reading and develop keenness. One such attempt was made by Prangan to generate more interest amongst the young minds towards stories they have read by relating them to the characters they liked. The students of Grade II & III were a part of an activity today where each child came dressed as their favorite characters and narrated a few dialogues. Dressed beautifully, the students not only had fun but effectively related to the characters and their emotions.
