Grade VI trip to Orchha

"Orchha literally means ‘hidden place’ and it stays true to its name!"


Students of class 6th of Sopaan were taken on a trip to Orchha on 11th to 14th of February 2017. Total 56 students were accompanied by teachers on this trip. They departed from Bhopal Main Station with a lot of excitement in their hearts, the following evening after reaching Jhansi they moved to Snow Leopard Adventure Camp, which is one hour drive from the station. The adventure team welcomed us. After refreshing they had dinner and briefing about the camp and safety rules given by the Team head T.B. Sir. 12th morning was the most exciting one because rafting activity in Betwa river was planned. Rafting was an exciting and adventure activity enjoyed by all the students. Students went for Heritage walk where they explored Jahagir Mahal, Laxmi Temple and Ram Mandir. The evening was mesmerizing as they enjoyed the Light and sound show. After early dinner, all retired to their respective camps. Next morning students enjoyed cycling at the Panchmadhia sanctuary. Same day students visited Taragram a NGO village. There they witnessed the handmade paper making process. It was indeed a learning experience for all of us. In the evening we all went to the Raja Ram Temple and were a part of lord Ram aarti. Next morning, after breakfast, all checked out in the morning to board the train. On 14th February all reached Habibganj Station with full of memories of the adventure camp.
