ISA project: Journey of Our Sustainable Pact with Nature

Lessons from Egyptian and Indus Valley Civilizations. 

The continuum of inter-related concepts in mathematics and history were explained through an ISA project discussion on the construction principles behind great historical monuments such as Great Pyramid at Giza & the theory of Pi, Phi and the application of the Pythagoras Theorem. The mythology and the numeric calculations were explained to the students of Grade IX through an ISA project under the title-Journey of Our Sustainable Pact with Nature.Mathematical aspects in the session was guided by Mr. Shridhar and Historical aspects by Mr. Somnath Ganguli.Such historical constructions were juxtaposed with numeric calculations for an understanding that was far more deep and profound.The ISA session took place atShikhar Hall 1.
