Assembly by Nirmaan D

On 14th March soon after Holi holidays Nirmaan D got the privilege to conduct the assembly on a short story “The Day Crayons Quit” by Drew Daywalt.

Poor Duncan just wants to colour. But when he opens his box of crayons he finds only letters, all saying the same thing: We quit!

Beige is tired of playing second fiddle to brown. Blue needs a break, pink just wants to be used, green has no complaints, but orange and yellow are no longer speaking to each other.

Duncan got an idea to create a colourful solution!  He made a colourful picture where all the crayons got an equal role to play and in the process he got A+ for his creativity and all the colours were happy too.

The assembly ended on a happy note where kids enjoyed dance on a song of colours!
