  • IAYP Gold Award 2017 to Uttoreo Saha

    The International Award for Young People (IAYP) is the most adaptable and successful youth empowerment program. It has no religious, political or strategic affiliations. It   has   established capacity for identifying hard issues and challenges associated with youth. It draws together and connects people, institutions and generations with the common purpose of youth development and inclusion. IAYP is the Programme of choice for over 11 million people in the world today.

    On 20th July 2017 Uttoreo Saha from the Sanskaar Valley School was awarded with a Gold Medal by The Chief Guest Dr. Vivek Raghavan ,CTO, TeamIndus at Delhi after completing his level in the same.

    The aim of the award is to motivate young people aged between 14 and 25 years to become involved in a balanced programme of voluntary self-development activities to take them through the potentially difficult period between adolescence and adulthood.

    The minimum period of participation is 6 months for Bronze, 12 months for Silver and 18 months for Gold. For each of these levels a participant is required to undertake activities under each of the four sections. At Gold level, participants undertake a Residential Project in addition.
