Reading is like dreaming with your eyes wide open, stargazing in the daylight, or feeling warmth in the rain — a magical experience that transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Prangan kicked off its celebration of literature with Reading Fest – Read-a-palooza!! on Friday, April 11th. This vibrant event highlighted the joy and importance of reading, a cornerstone of learning that the faculty at Prangan passionately believes in.
To spark curiosity and excitement, teachers brought stories to life through enactments, offering students a glimpse into the novels they would explore throughout the year. Each performance transported young minds into rich literary landscapes filled with unforgettable characters and thrilling adventures.
At Umang Hall, the enchantment of storytelling unfolded through a variety of engaging reading activities, culminating in a delightful theatrical presentation of "The Magical Library Adventure- Guided by the Reading Fairy." The drama not only entertained but also underlined the power of books to change hearts and open minds.
To further nurture a love for reading, students were invited to take part in a Reading Raffle — a playful twist that added a layer of excitement to their literary journey. Each grade was also introduced to the novels specially curated for them, sparking anticipation for the worlds waiting to be discovered within those pages.
Reading Fest – Read-a-palooza left our young readers bubbling with joy and brimming with enthusiasm. A newfound hunger for stories was born, and with it, the promise of lifelong imagination and ever-growing knowledge.
Because at Prangan, we believe that a child who reads is a child who dreams, thinks, and soars.
