On April 5, an engaging art activity based on the Elements of Art was conducted for students of Grades 2 to 5, allowing them to explore creativity through numbers and shapes. This hands-on session aimed to introduce young learners to key visual elements like line, shape, color, space, and form.
Grades 2 and 3 created imaginative compositions using numbers, turning digits into animals, objects, and abstract art with vibrant lines and patterns. Grades 4 and 5 explored compositions using geometric and organic shapes, creating visually balanced and colorful artwork.
This activity not only introduced students to the basic elements of art but also enhanced their observation and motor skills. It encouraged them to look at familiar things—numbers and shapes—with a new artistic perspective.
The activity was filled with enthusiasm, imagination, and colorful expressions. Their artwork reflected an early understanding of art fundamentals in a fun and meaningful way.
